TPA Portable Roadways Overcome Challenging Logistics

14 Mar
A project which started in November 2024 saw TPA Portable Roadways being faced with challenging logistics which called for some careful planning.

The Burrows Lane project in Guilford, Surrey, was assigned to TPA Portable Roadways so that infrastructure specialists ‘Pro Rail Services’ could access a site to complete some essential embankment works.

The task at hand

For TPA, this firstly presented the challenge of negotiating narrow country lanes, making it difficult for the crew to approach the working site. 250 HD Panels were then laid throughout a farm in potentially boggy ground conditions, making the task even more demanding.

Getting the Job Done…

Not to be phased by these challenges, the team at TPA were able to successfully install all 250 panels to complete the compound area and provide essential access for the customer’s vehicles.

Pro Rail commented on the overall expertise and efficient service provided by the team at TPA Portable Roadways:

"TPA Portable Roadways provided an excellent solution to overcome the logistical challenges of accessing the site, ensuring a smooth and efficient installation. Their expertise and careful planning made all the difference, allowing us to complete our embankment works without any delays."

TPA Temporary Roadways

TPA always deliver outstanding technical support throughout all stages of hire, from first customer contact to transport, installation and collection. The meticulous planning that made the Burrows Lane project a great success was down the team at TPA going the extra mile by implementing a course of action that predetermined that the job would be a success from the outset.
