Beaulieu Enterprises hired close to 500 aluminium panels and accessories from TPA to provide temporary trackways at the International Autojumble. The event, hosted by the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Hampshire, took place over the 1st and 2nd of September, 2018. The project included one week for installation and a further week to decommission following the event.
In order for the International Autojumble to take place without a hitch, it became clear that meticulous planning would be vital to the success of this operation. The layout of the build allowed for minimal space between the panels and marquees meaning there would be little or no room for error. It would therefore be necessary to coordinate and work closely with the client and other contractors to ensure the event could go ahead on time as planned. All this had to happen with no inconvenience, risk or safety concerns for the attending public or Beaulieu Enterprises.
The multiple challenges that this project raised were overcome by methodically ordering the sequence of installation to achieve the final arrangement of track and marquees. Frequent and strong communication between TPA and the Beaulieu Events team ensured that every stage of work was strategically planned to avoid delay.
The application of best industry practice throughout the installation process meant that all deliveries, marquee crew and visitors, were able to navigate around the site safely.
TPA had a dedicated team on site throughout the entire two-week operation; providing essential support to the client and other contractors. As with many event venues, swift removal of the kit is also an important factor, especially where subsequent events are planned, and the TPA team successfully removed all the equipment in week two.
International Autojumble is our largest event and needs meticulous planning and delivery. Weather and ground conditions can sometimes be challenging and during these times we appreciate the skills and dedication shown by the TPA crews to get the work finished in time, with as little damage to the ground as possible.
We have always found the project co-ordinators and crews work to a high standard and appreciate that they go the extra mile to make sure the work is completed to our satisfaction.
Beaulieu has been, and continues to be, extremely pleased with the service provided by TPA over many years.’
